An involute worm gear refers to a worm gear with an involute tooth profile on its end face. From a geometric perspective, an involute worm gear is equivalent to an involute cylindrical helical gear with few teeth and a large helix angle.
Structural characteristics
The tooth profile of an involute worm gear presents an involute shape in a section perpendicular to the axis of the worm gear. This design enables it to achieve line contact during meshing, greatly improving its load-bearing capacity.
Application scenarios
Although involute worms have high load-bearing capacity and transmission stability, due to the difficulty in manufacturing worm gear cutters, involute worms are usually not used and Archimedean worms are used instead. The Archimedes worm gear has a straight tooth shape in the axial section, making it relatively easy to manufacture

People are increasingly interested in the comfort features of electrically adjustable car seats. And our electromechanical horizontal seat adjuster provides the technical foundation for comfort functions. Not only can it adapt to long-term operation at different temperatures, but it is also collision resistant and wear-resistant. In addition, installing this seat adjuster can reduce the impact of noise and vibration.
Due to its small size, the seat adjuster of IMS Gear is compatible with most seat rails on the market and can provide a relatively long adjustment path. Optimized gears combined with free installation mode greatly reduce noise.
As a modular system, our solution has the benefits of standardization, such as the ability to quickly access advanced technologies for global mass production due to attractive cost-effectiveness and highly personalized customer specific interfaces.
